This modular backplane section allows RC2014 compatible modules to be used with a Z50Bus system. It can be connected to any Z50Bus compatible bus socket, such as a modular backplane or the LiNC80 SBC1.

It provides one Z50Bus compatible card socket, three vertical RC2014 bus compatible module sockets, and one horizontal RC2014 bus compatible module socket.

The horizontal socket allows either an RC2014 compatible module to be connected or another modular RC2014 compatible backplane section, such as SC113.

SC500 series backplanes include:

  • SC507 - 3-slot, narrow spacing
  • SC501 - 7-slot, narrow spacing
  • SC508 - 10-slot, wide spacing
  • SC515 - 14-slot, narrow spacing
  • SC517 - Modular, RC-2014 to Z50Bus bridge
  • SC513 - Modular, 6-slot, narrow spacing, 5-volt input
  • SC522 - Modular, 6-slot, narrow spacing

The Kit

This kit includes all the components needed to make the card, as shown in the first picture. Other cards and backplanes shown in the other pictures are not included. You will require tools, solder, and cleaning materials to assemble this kit.
