Socketing kit for controllers

This kit of 2 low profile machined sockets is ideal to make your controllers detachable/replaceable.

Avoid the need to de-solder your controller (Pro Micro/Nice!nano/Black Pill or equivalent) to replace it in case of a failure (broken USB port/ESD damage), or simply allow yourself the future option to easily upgrade your controller from a Pro Micro to an Nice!nano making your project wireless instead.

Kit is intended for a single controller, for a split keyboard you will need two kits!

• Sold as a pair, needed for a single controller
• Ultra-low profile (only 3.1 mm height over PCB)
• Machined body/pin
• Accepts both Mill-Max pins and cut off legs from 1N4148 diodes

Optional kits

• 2 x 12 pin to fit Pro Micro or Nice!nano
• 2 x 20 pin to fit BlackPill (STM32F4xx)

Additional option

Add Mill-Max pins to solder to your controller. A more 'professional' option than using cut-off diode legs.

• Machined pin of the exact lenght needed
• Less likely to bend on insertion/removal
• Easier to insert/remove if aligned properly

Please note that using these pins require a more precise mounting/soldering or they become extremely difficult to insert/remove if misaligned. It is recommended to insert the pins in the socket and solder the PCB in place, to avoid any alignment issues.

Normal handling time is 3 - 5 working days, not including build items (Those usually take 1 - 2 weeks).

Shipping is done with insured/signed for parcels, where no such service is available the parcel is sent as insured parcel, but may not be fully traceable the entire transit. If no insured or traceable service is available, parcels will be sent as uninsured/untraceable at the buyers responsibility. All of which is clearly stated on checkout.

The SE/EU "Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59)" allows returns of the items in undamaged (unsoldered!) condition within 14 days of receiving it. Return shipping on returned items are the responsibility of the buyer.
