ClimateControl for Ecodan works
The device is now installed and works fine. I had some problems setting it up, and soft reset did not solve the problem. (I could connect to the device's wifi, but the web page would not appear, although ipconfig looked OK). The developer/ vendor provided help how to hard-reset - which solved the problem.

Solution for design flaw with built-in thermometer in air conditioning indoor units
It is hard to understand why airco indoor units are still designed with a built-in thermometer to measure and control room temperature. It is a common design flaw in air conditioning units. By default, air conditioning indoor units should come with an external (remote) room thermometer, either wired or wireless. This external ClimaControl sensor solves the problem for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries indoor units. Exactly what I needed for my four indoor units. With this sensor, the room temperature in my home is now accurately measured and controlled. Thank you for making this solution available!

Works great, eventually
Setting this up was a pain but once done it has been very reliable. Connecting to it's wifi was hit and miss, eventually connecting using my phone got through to it's web interface. Considering this device is HomeAssistant focused, some basic documentation around getting a MQTT service running would have been great but I was on my own for that.

Thank you for your review!
MQTT works just like any other MQTT device in home assistant: You will need to set up your own broker and set basic credentials to connect.
We assumed some basic understanding of MQTT by the customer as this is not specific to the climacontrol module. However, I understand some directions would be helpful. We are working on improving on documentation.
In case you have any questions or suggestions for improvement of the module, please do not hesitate to contact ProtoART! We are always happy to help.
